who can forget 'aayiram nilave vaa' from adimai penn. the first nila song of padum nila balu. people felt 'mgr' looked very young with the voice of spb. there's an interesting news about this song also.
after being booked for the film, spb fell sick and indisposed for almost 2 months. he thought he had lost a good chance of singing for mgr. but to his surprise, the song was not recorded at all.
mgr later told spb 'i only asked the concerned people to wait for you. this is one of ur first few songs and you would have told many of ur near and dear that u r crooning a song for mgr. i know how u would feel if the chance is given to some one else. that's why i asked them to wait for u'.
